まるでお祭り！NYCプライド・パレードとは？2019年stonewall50プライドパレードをご紹介！

プライド・パレード発祥の地アメリカのニューヨークシティ（NYC）はLGBTQの聖地とされています。
毎年6月末に行われるプライド・プライド・パレードはプライド月間のハイライト。

今年は、LGBTQがはじめて声を発したストーンウォールの反乱から５０年。
2019年6月30日に行わえれたNYCプライドパレードに１５万近くの人が参加したという。ストーンウォールの反乱50周年を記念するために世界中から集まった2019年NYCのプライド・パレードは、過去最大規模だと海外メディアは報道しています。

また、今年のNYCプライドパレードではニューヨーク市警察（NYPD）の強力なサポートが話題になりました。
今まで暴動を起こさないように武装していた警察は、LGBTQのパレードをサポートする目的で警護に当たると表明を出し、ストーンウォールの反乱の暴力的な捜査に対して謝罪をしています。

今回はそのNYCのプライド・パレードのルートやイベント、参加した企業やセレブについてご紹介いたします。
日本だとあまり情報が入ってこないプライド・パレード、来年こそは参加してみてくださいね。

２０１６年６月３０日（土）１１時１５分ー１２時　※米国時間

①　26th Street and 5th Avenueから南下
②　ワシントン・スクエア・パーク前で曲がる
③　ストーンウォール国立記念碑の前を通り
④　NYC AIDS メモリアルパークに向かって北上
⑤　23th Street and 7th Avenueが終点

NYPDよりプライドパレード中に閉鎖されるルートが告知されている。
午前中プライドパレード付近を車で移動するのは不可能。

NYCプライドパレードに参加するには？

NYCのマーチングパレードは非営利団体や企業などによって構成されています。
パレードと観客の間には仕切りがつくられており、一般の人は仕切りの外側から観覧。

夏祭りの催しを見に行くようなイメージでしょうか。
パレードに来年参加する方は地下鉄のご利用をおすすめします。

2019年NYCのプライド・パレードには、６７７団体が参加しそのうち７４％が非営利団体。
さらにそのうち、１５０組はアメリカ国内ではなく海外の団体が参加してたとのことです。
